Ive sort of been on a race kick lately because it is something I haven’t had to deal with before. I guess where I came from everyone knew me and knew my family and what I look like never mattered, even though I was predominantly surrounded by white people.
In my new place people are pretty insensitive about race and adoption and it surprises me sometimes. For example, one time someone said to me “hey, do you want to go to the body works anatomy exhibit? Maybe you’ll see your real parents. Seeing as most of the bodies were from unclaimed poor people who died in china.”
For those of you who have messaged me saying it wasnt ignorant or rude of him to say that because many of the bodies are from china: yes, I realise where the bodies came from. I know where the facilities in which they are processed are and the different companies and their general techniques of plasticiznation. The fact the statement about many of the bodies being from china does not however excuse the remark that was made.
Oh, I don’t deny it’s a horrid thing to say.
Regardless of whether or not the bodies came from China, it’s pretty prejudiced to say that to some average Chinese...
fucking serious. What...actual fuck. Who...fuck says...
So much for this blog being abandoned, right? The above story...understand people saying...
